This is one of the latest predictions I’ve seen from Lunardi as of 1am today.
He has us starting in the Oklahoma City region in the South Bracket where Florida is the #1 seed. Getting to stunt on Texas A&M and a revenge game with Florida would be cinema. Not too mention we would get to play in Houston for Sweet 16 and Elite 8.
I will be very happy with a 2 seed and Florida as the 1 in our bracket in the south. As an upside will give us a chance for revenge in front of home crowd to get to Final Four again.
OMG…a lot of ghosts of the past here… Tech, Purdue, Zags, Vols, Nova and Aggies. And then you finish up with Florida.
This might be a hot take but I think Clemson takes out Florida here. Clemson are a good team

Lunardi and his fellow clowns are still pimping UT, SMU unbelievable. If you have to consider them, then put West Virginia and Cincy in the same consideration. And Coogs would have got the 1 seed if we won the game yesterday. Moving on…
But we’re projected for the 2 seed in Houston… I prefer that…
There are much better people to follow if you are interested in the bracket than ESPN, especially Lunardi.

For whatever it’s worth, everyone on Reddit seems terrified of ending up with us in the South region. As they should be.
Lunardi is the only one that said that if Florida loses and UH wins, Florida would still be a #1 seed.

I feel like Lunardi has way too much sway on the committee’s bracket decisions.
People will tell you there’s no influence but we all know that’s a lie. ESPN probably has a bunch of stuff going on behind the scenes or else they wouldn’t pimp out Lunardi’s predictions to be the standard

Lunardi has zero impact on the committee. If he did, his bracket projections wouldnt be so terrible every year. In BracketMatrix.com they track like 150 bracket people; Lunardi consistently ranks in the bottom quarter.
