At least UH has a better program than LSU or Florida based upon some of the requirements in this thread.
High Point beat Florida on Thursday and is currently leading on Saturday.
Sacramento St beat LSU today.
Both High Point and Sacramento St are ranked lower than Arkansas Pine Bluff so at least UH is better than those two losing programs (Florida, High Point).
I am basing it off your idea that UH sucks bad because they gave up 5 runs in the first inning to Arkansas PineBluff. That tells me you know little about college baseball. There are many games where a âlesserâ school can have a good inning or a top flight pitcher may have a bad inning.
âAllowing that team to be leading the way they were tells you everything you need to know about TW.â
Your comment about one inning should never happen is far sillier than me using RPI ranking that cover 2 weeks. Unless you actually believe that one 5 run inning is a more substantial fact than 2 weeks of RPI?
I was making fun of your post on how silly it sounded. Not a commentary of the overall validity of top 25 rankings.
Well, I managed to play four years of D-1 baseball and have sent over 100 kids to D-1 programs and many more to different levels.
Have kids I coached playing in MLB but sure I donât know college baseball.
And where did I base it off one inning? You like to make things up to fit your agenda?
Both of your takes are ridiculous.
Your typing⊠Maybe you want to stretch your meaning to 3 innings just to âprove me wrongâ
Did not make anything up I posted accurate facts on teams winning and current RPI to make a point. Also like I already said, the post about Florida and LSU was a joke based off your comment. If you really believe I was serious that UH was better than those two programs, not sure what to tell you.
I am fine though if you do not want to converse with me. With fans like you, makes me wonder if I made a mistake trying to start following UH baseball.
It might not seem like a big deal, but at the end of the season, playing a weak non-conf schedule can cost a team an at-large bid, the chance to host a regional, or a super.
Barring a miracle this will be Whitings last year as the head coach.
And then the program must be dedicated to bringing in a coach who can recruit and coach this program back to respectability.
I donât hate Todd and I always root for my Coogs, but this hopeful move is way past overdue.
With the proper backing a new coach can hit the portal instantly and maybe turn things around.
But frankly I hoped for the same in womenâs basketball and it didnât happen the first year.
Just go by the fact that we went to regionals as a member of both CUSA and the AAC. Not in seven years. Now in the Big 12 there has been no impact on recruiting. Something has to happen. No one cares about the program both internally and externally.
