That’s the way it was with our basketball program around 2014, but things can change quickly with the right coach, we should compete for big 12 championships in baseball also

Baseball can change WAY faster than basketball or Football….
Pat Hallmark or Sean Allen both have the ability to get it done quickly.
Look at the guys Hallmark gets with virtually no NIL and limited recruiting budget along with poor facilities!

We played well against a ranked OSU team in Frisco, and again with Iowa and finally beat the best team in Alabama. Left the bases loaded in the 9th of both losses. When Hoffman pitches we are tough to beat, when Sabathia is swing well the play sails off his bat.

Which is why they made a coaching change. They’ve signed some impressive recruits and I expect Pierce will make them a winning program again. Not like their heyday, but a lot better than what they are now.

Yep, but they’ve made the change that should get them back on track, while we’re pointing at our record against weak teams. That 9 game winning streak against Rice hasn’t moved us forward.
