2026 UH Baseball

We are god awful

This is what you were celebrating.

It’s something I wouldn’t call attention to unless I was a ttu fan. Not being able to pull this off until they fielded a bad team is nothing to gloat about.

Defeatist attitude. I’ll wait until we do something worthwhile before I celebrate. I remember the Noble years, so I have higher expectations of Houston Cougar Baseball.

In case you missed 3rd ward’s post, we’re pretty bad ourselves.

When you’re bad, as we are, you celebrate every win, but you ESPECIALLY celebrate when you get a conference series road win in a place where you haven’t gotten one in generations.

A team in our position doesn’t have room to complain about a non-sweep in ANY series.

Speak for yourself. As for me:

Anyway, I’m done. I’ve said all I have to say. The taxpayers of Washington County are paying me good money to do a job and I’ve been neglecting it. Wait
that’s not me
that’s someone else
nevermind.

We’re on our 2nd longest stretch of not making an NCAA Regional in school history. The only one that was worse was 1967-1982. That would be hard to beat these days, but we have the right coach to reach that plateau.

Pitching change now.
Don’t wait.

The Ol Dirt Ball Read from 3d by SAM.
UH 5 to 4.

Man, you don’t win too many 1-run games committing 4 errors - good thing the pitchers were able to minimize the damage.

I don’t care about Tech. I want to see a once proud program back where it belongs.

Another tough loss, got to keep fighting until the end. It won’t get any easier from here unfortunately!

Go Coogs!

Whitting is just riding out the end of his contract, i feel bad for the team and players, but let’s face it season is done let’s just finish up, get a new coach and move on

I get what you’re saying but no reason to feel bad for them
.these kids are on full boats, free year of college and have the opportunity to put up numbers for the new coach or a new school.

For some, it gave them the opportunity to be able to say they “played D-1 ball”
.nice little feather in their cap for their resume one day.
