My hometown softball pitcher committed to UH softball a while back. We are going for a back to back softball title. If things go as planned we’ll win next year and get 3 in a row. Her family are Aggies and wealthy so I’m surpised she is coming to UH. Good people nonetheless.

The vast majority that post in this forum do care, go to games and support the team as much as they can. It’s a broken record cause it’s the same crap year after year after year. There’s only one constant year after year after year for this piss poor play and development. It’s years past time to have cut bait and move on. We want it back to what it once was.

There is a common denominator for all under performing programs at UH. For whatever reason (money, friendships or general incompetence) the administrations allowed those programs to become completely gutted. I’m of the mindset that any new coaches at this point have at least a 2 year grace period.

If those were the Austin and College Station regionals they would both be worthy of going to….UTSA and Texas St. Would be they teams to root for.

The right person could get them into regionals next year. The whole team, like 90% of the teams in college baseball, will be gone. It is all about evaluating and developing. Something that hasn’t happened in this programs for a decade.
