My future in-laws are throwing my fiancee and I an engagement party on October 12th (the date wasn’t my idea). I have 4 tickets (section 114, row 7, seats 9-12) and 2 blue lot parking passes. Asking for 35 bucks per ticket and $10 per parking pass. Asking that you either buy the whole thing or in pairs.
I live in downtown and work in spring branch. I can meet you anywhere that’s reasonable.

I would kindly let your in-laws know that having the engagement party on that day will be costing you financially and that will not set you on the right path going forward to support and take care of their daughter like they would like.
In their best interest, they would be better served to move the engagement party to Sunday, October 13th.
