8 Days in February

  • ESPN Big Monday prime time Feb 16 at #7 Iowa St
  • ABC Saturday afternoon Feb 21 vs. #1 Arizona
  • ESPN Big Monday prime time Feb 23 at #11 Kansas

Quite the gauntlet. Will likely determine if we are a #1, #2 or #3 seed. On the season, the Coogs are 4-2 against ranked teams.

Looking at the schedules, Iowa St has games vs Kansas, Houston, Tech and at Arizona and BYU.

Arizona has Tech, BYU, Kansas and Iowa St at home and Kansas and Houston on the road.

Kansas has Arizona and Houston at home, and Iowa St and Arizona on the road.

Not clear on why Big12 allows this. Doesn’t set teams up to play their best. Whoever wins

The didn’t “allow” it - they set it up this way.

Sucks for us, but it’s not their job to set us up to win the conference. And this stretch gave us the chance to basically clinch the title - our guys just weren’t ready to take it.

The Big 12 set it up to bring UH “back to the pack” with back-to-back Big Monday night road games at Iowa State & Kansas (both with huge fan bases & expected Top 10 rankings) along with another Top 10 ranked Arizona at the Fertitta Center sandwiched in between in order to maximize the Big 12 TV Viewers/Revenues! So it’s all about the $$$.

And so they’re planning to use primarily Iowa State & Kansas to sell out the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City
a short drive for both of their huge fan bases.

I guess the Big 12 hated the AAC/Pac-12/BYU coming in and winning lol.

Will be a fun watch after we win the natty

LMAO I just hope we get to the Elite 8.
I’m not expecting a national championship with this team.

NC State didn’t expect one either.
