and has yet to establish a winning culture. They coddle the recruits in order to lure them in
and then fail to coach them up to their true potential. Maybe their culture is coddling.

I think their culture is defense, play fast in transition and iso in half court. Lots of freedom to shoot.

IMHO, we haven’t seen a team so far this year that’s as good on defense and as motivated to beat us as we’ll see this Sunday with Memphis.

Their guards are 6’7" 6’5" 6’5" 6’3" and 6’3" - each w/ 4-5 star Top 100 ratings and with 2-3 state championships apiece - coming out of HS. Inside, they’re 6’10" 6’9" 6’9" and 6’7" again with 4-5 star Top 100 ratings.

So Memphis has national Top 10 type of talent vs UH which has lessor rated talent bolstered by CKS establishing our culture, developing our role players, game planning and coaching for success.

It should be a really good game. One thing to watch is Memphis is dead last in the nation in unforced turnovers

Memphis lost to vcu, Western Kentucky, barely beat south Florida. We roll Memphis i say unless I’m missing something.

2 major keys your missing

  1. the ncaa delayed the transfer approval of deandre williams till late december
he has been te heart and soul of their team since joining


  2. they completely changed offense mid season
 they tried to run an “nba” offense to start the year, penny said it wsnt working
 switched to the offense he ran in high school, sounds cooky but their offense has drastically improved since then

Williams averages 10pts, but last year was 40% from 3. No one else averages over 13. They play defense, like us.
