The homeless people that want to get out of their circumstances will accept the help.
The homeless people that are lost causes typically reject housing or they don’t stay long due to mental illness or addiction issues.
Homelessness is a consequence of capitalism at the end of the day, as much as people want to deny it.
How does Capitalism cause Homelessness?
Lol
Most homeless people want the freedom to do anything they want and have you pay for it. Just because they don’t go roost in that facility doesn’t make them a lost cause. I know people plenty of people with addiction issues that work in white collar jobs. The guy in the office next to me has multiple addictions. Great accountant.
Not all homeless are victims. A hell of a lot of them are lazy opportunists.
That’s funny… why did I see a bunch of homeless people in China when I was there… you know communist China…
Why are there homeless people in Cuba…?
It’s a consequence of poor decisions usually
Many times it’s mental health and not just drugs. You can tell instantly when you’re around them. We need more mental health facilities in this country. “Deinstitutionalization” has been a disaster of epic proportions.
Mental health and drugs.
Homeless people are the opposite of lazy. They are more resourceful with less than anyone here.
They need to be off the streets, plain and simple. That benefits ALL of society in helping stop the spread of disease, and quite frankly, visual blight.
Treatment and housing.
Sure thing. There’s no better bole than hyper-bole
WWJD Rob? Pee on a homeless person?
You don’t have to say everything that enters your brain, slugger.
Lol
Praying on the sympathies of others is less resourceful and more cunning and devious.
And your statement is a false comparison since you don’t know squat about anyone here.
Doesn’t negate what I said. Staying alive is hard when you’re crazy and strung out, yet they seem to do it with no money.
Geez, you lads will work so hard to denigrate the downtrodden.

It’s your dumb statement we’re denigrating. Your logical fallacies are numero uno
Show us where we did that Mr. Strawman
Yeah, we’re just mean people. I don’t have experience dealing with panhandling knuckleheads every day.
While we’re on the topic it’s funny how quickly Houston sweeps these people in River Oaks and Bellaire but lets them build encampments everywhere else.
Working so hard to show that homeless people aren’t resourceful is heroes work. You should be proud, Dobby.
My statement was relatively harmless to the well adjusted. All you have to do is compare those that complain about it. Pretty common traits amongst them.
Los Angeles leads the nation in homelessness, they should be eradicated by now with all your help and all that you’re doing
Maybe you can provide 500 of those examples clown
I don’t live in Los Angeles, slick. Talk about Straw Men.I live in the town whose mayor was doing propaganda for China. Facts.
I’m a big advocate of solving the homeless problem, and will vote for those that have any plan. I also am a proponent of remembering there are humans in there, which seems to offend people on this board for some reason. You came after me for no reason other than your own need to say something.
What are you doing other than using terms you learned in your word of the day dictionary?
You’ve used hyperbole like a thousand times.

San Antonio has one of the best programs in assisting homelessness I’ve ever seen.
The facility provides job training, housing, food, mental help, assistance with kids. Its pretty incredible. I volunteered at the soup kitchen there and the folks present were super thankful.
