I don’t like Penny Hardaway. I didn’t like him when he played for Memphis, and I sure as heck don’t like him now. He always struck me as a "get over guy’- always trying to get something over on people- and not in a good way. Penny has been doing shady stuff for years, and because he is still a legend there, folks looked the other way. Maybe all the crap he’s been doing for years is catching up to him?

After a nice win v FAU on Thurs.
Home loss to so/ so Tulane was all Penny.
Early 2nd half and Tulane has 7 fouls to Memphis 1.
Penny coaches like that means nothing.

“I’ve been a Tigers fan since I was a kid. That’s going back some 50 years now. For as long as I could remember I wanted nothing more than Tiger basketball tickets. When I was a young adult, you couldn’t get them due to the waiting list at the coliseum and later on at the Pyramid. I was finally able to afford season tickets when Penny became the coach. The joy lasted two seasons before I couldn’t watch anymore while Clyde Drexler (Penny) slowly ruined the program. I gave up going and haven’t been back, and won’t go back until there is a renewed commitment to excellence in Tiger basketball. I know a lot of the resources are being redirected to football, but we certainly should have enough “whales” to financially support both sports, shouldn’t we?”
