This thread is to appreciate and thank all the UH fans that took the time and money to support the UH Cougars play Purdue in Indianapolis. You looked great on the broadcast and brought the energy to the team. Not all of us can travel to these games but it seemed that the UH fans at the arena were cheering for all UH fans.
Keep up the good work and bring home a Final Four berth.
They were heavily outnumbered but not intimidated. Great job Cougars!
Kyle and I had a great time except some of the Purdue fans couldn’t handle UH winning in their home stadium outnumbered three to one but we were loud and proud and brought home a winner. The Kentucky fans and Tennessee fans were fine but the sore losers from Purdue just blame the refs and that’s not right Then they had to be physically abusive at the end of the game and throw things and thank goodness some Kentucky fans intervened. Thanks for your note, It was a great time. Great experience and hopefully bring home a winner on Sunday.
Really lol we blamed the refs on this board the whole game lol, the poor refs have a tough job lol
When they are not poor there is a lot less complaining. That game was above that crew in almost every way.
Please elaborate on Purdue fans’ physical abusiveness. I had always thought they were pretty normal. Not arguing. I am indeed surprised.

The first words from Purdue fans to UH fans in our section were “eat my d!ck”… “effing pu$$ies” and taunting us to fight…
Of course I’m not one to take that stuff so I gave it back…
Then as the game was winding down the group of 10, or so, 2 rows behind me and Greg kept throwing peanuts at me until I stood up and turned around and then were telling me to STFU until one of the women with them came down and said she’d stop them if I let it go…
After the game the man from the young Coog couple next to us asked me “were they throwing stuff at you, too…? because they were hitting me with stuff.”
Straight trash fans.
I’ve been to Eagles games, Ravens games and Yankees games and have never had fans be so disrespectful.

The Jets were pretty terrible when I saw the Texans beat them at the Meadowlands so they weren’t very rowdy…
One of our members said some Bama fans blocked their view most of the game in Fertitta. That alone made me a Bama hater for life. I guess I need to add another group.
Refs missed 2 calls late that went our way.
And at least 3 earlier that didn’t, including 2 OOB and an obvious goaltending.
And several blatant push offs by Kaufman-Renn. And each push off resulted in a Jo Jo foul. He had at least 8, maybe 9 fouls!
Not to mention KR putting his shoulder into Tugler’s chest

Yup
I was the one there with the kids. Asked the most obnoxious one to be loud for his team but tone down the profanity and vulgarity.
