Stephen Colbert has allegedly signed on to produce a movie or TV series based upon Roger Zelazny’s “Chronicles of Amber” fantasy novel series.
Fans of George R.R. Martin should know that this series is one of his favorites.
I’ve read more Zelazny novels than those of any other fiction writer, including all ten novels of Amber series.
To me, they aren’t Zelazny’s best works, nor did they win him the Hugo or Nebula Awards that some of his other works did. However, they are certainly his best known and most popular/best selling works. I hope that the project comes to fruition and makes it to the screen!
