Home losses to High Point (ECU) and The Citadel (USF) tonight. While SMU (3-3) holds of Wright State (3-3) by one point.

Yesterday Southern Illinois (3-3) defeated Tulsa in Tulsa by 10.

Let’s hope WSU can cobble together a competitive squad. Our conference needs teams that can win OOC…including us.

There’s some good teams in this conference and some real bad ones. Conference overall looks weaker this year, but we might be stronger.

I’m considerably more concerned about conference strength in basketball than football. The ACC really gobbles up east coast talent but I don’t understand how ECU cannot get it going. If SMU has a down year our conference probably won’t get four invites.

I don’t think Memphis makes it this year.

Cincy, Houston, UCF, and Temple are all pretty good. I could see 2 to 3 of those make it. UCONN is feisty, but I think Hurley is a year away with that squad. Beyond that though…
