I don’t like A&M, never have and never will. However, if I were a fan/alum, I would not be pleased with what I’m seeing. They ain’t paying Jimbo that outrageous salary to go 8 and 4.
Everything is relative 8-4 not bad lot of schools would love to go 8-4. No one forced those dummies to pay that kind of money. You dumb enough to pay me this this type of money I’m sure as hell not going to turn it down

The Aggies are like The ‘Horns in that they have had a few moments of National Glory and they then expect that to be their “Norm”.
Thus they forever throw big $money at Football.
Nothing will stop this as long as wealthy Donors agree to throw away endless piles of $money.
A$M has one Big 12 Title and zero SEC Titles in the past 26 seasons. That was also their norm in The SWC. Scattered eras of excellence. Their record against UT was pitiful.
Easy to predict that Jimbo will eventually get the axe, a ridiculous payout will ensue, and the next “Savior” will be hired.
