I was so disappointed reading the second half the thread title.
Misleading headline imho. Click bait.

meaning that the earliest scrolls could be up to 100 years older than previously thought.
And what’s the plus or minus?
IDK anything about this, but I’ll assume narrowing down authorship, societal influences, and all the other things historians can now synch with the new dating. It’s a bonanza for those scholars.
I thought AI was just predictive text. How can it figure out how old something is.

I had to watch a movie recently called Companion with my wife. She tries to tell me to go to sleep sometimes now. 
According to some posters, that doesn’t exist.
It’s real, it’s in it’s infancy but we have it in our products.
