JMO it’s time to move on. And I will go ahead and say it, Tune is a much better fit for this offense. If King had stayed he probably would have moved to another position.
King made the right move. Like him or not Holgersen is a straight shooter and King knew where he stood after the loss to Tulane

losing keenum…and getting back keenum drastically changed the outcome of the season…that is 1 player
our run defense drastically got worse when ed decided to leave
guy was kicked off the team at Alabama. So probably did not correct his mistakes.

I just hope get the help he needs. Sounds like he has some deep rooted issues that need to be addressed. Probably got away with this behavior due to talent for a long time.

Keyword “losing”. There are some here that think we actually had King in this offense. When? Lol it looked like the Clayton Tune show to me.

It’s always sad when an extremely talented person succumbs to drugs. It means the demons have won.
There has been 0 mention from anyone reputable that this has anything to do with drugs. Not sure why you guys keep spreading that around.

Not sure if that rumor is worth spreading about this kid. It does sound like he was a pampered kid that thought he could get away with a lot.
With that said, our defensive attack just took a hit according to our HEAD COACH that said he was the most disruptive player he has coached.
What i did not see was any of these posters that are downplaying him as nothing special posting before today that he was nothing special. He was an All SEC Freshman. Not a star recruit coming out of hih school that barely played at Oklahoma State, UCLA, Tech, UT or TAMU. He was a real talent and this stings.
All American JUCO players are great, so are all conference sun belt players, but seriously, if he was such a non factor our head coach seems to disagree with you.

To people that believe Anoma was yes. To people who never seen him play, no.
I didn’t say I was down in the dumps. I’m fine. Just think losing those 2 players was big for 2020. To be clear, I still think we will be better than 2019.
And, we just got the news of Anoma. I think we can complain for a few hours before we move on.
As for King, we can agree to disagree. No need to rehash any of that.

i think everyone here knows we will have a better season …but better than 5-7 isnt saying much…
outside of “loving UH” what differences to do you see from last years 5-7 team to make a big enough impact to have us 10+ wins?
a case could have been made with the record setting qb…a case could have been made for the addition of 5star “program altering” talent with the other decent pieces being added around him …hard to see otherwise
