This is the article Iām thinking of. But maybe youāre right and it was announced before.
Iām not sure that people here are either whining, or blaming CDH, so much as they are expressing DISAPPOINTMENT that a guy who was projected to anchor our defense (CDH talked about how dominating and disruptive he was), has now done something stupid and gotten kicked out of school.
OF COURSE people have every right in the world to be disappointed when the projected defensive cog gets kicked outā¦just as they were rightfully disappointed when our projected offensive cog (King) left.
Expressing that disappointment isnāt exactly a āwhineā or a āblame,ā in my view.
Many of us were already concerned about next season, and now we are more concerned than ever, given recent developments.
And I say this as the LONG TIME President of the Poly Train.

CDH also said that Trahan was one of the best TEās heās ever coached; thatās better than some NFL guys. CT only managed 1 TD in 10 games played. Maybe there is some coach speak involved, and we are reading into some things too much.

Thatās not what he said about Trahanā¦ he flat called him just decent in interviewsā¦ but he is further along that any he had at WVU when they were a sophomore ā¦that is a complete different meaning than what you just wrote
and for the record, wvu has only eve had 1 TE ever drafted under holgsā¦he had a total of 2 career tdsā¦his sophomore stats were 1 catch for 6 yrds
furthest along sophomore heās coached, isnt that impressive when youve seen his track record with TEā¦ most disruptive heās ever āseenā (not just coached)ā¦āprogram changingā were his descriptive for anoma

Welp. You guys are freaking depressing. This is simply a case of a stupid kid that wasted a ton a God-given talent. His decisions have affected his life far more than they will affect the UH program. He is far more likely to end up in prison than the NFL. For UH, next man up.
