Alabama Transfer Anoma Dismissed

Kid can’t handle college but will probably kill it in the NFL.

Unless he throws that away too.

How about those 2 rebounds by Broodo in the last 3 minutes! Whooo!

I see him doing what that kid from wvu did and forgoing his senior year to play in the xfl.

I don’t care about all of the above.
Looking to the future, do we get another scholarship for him, or do we lose a scholarship ?

If all is true it’s much better to cut him loose now than in middle of season and have all the distractions and drama bs.

From what I’ve seen of ncaa football missing classes and taking drugs don’t really hurt you long-term.

Fighting with your teammates and coaches will end your career a hell of a lot faster. That’s a catastrophe.

Do you have proof of this? Just curious.

Just three years ago, we were tossing Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield around like rag dolls.
Florida State, Oklahoma called us Daddy. Where are we now, our coaches are taking to the hills, star QB gonzo, players are indisciplined, worst win -loss record in over 20 years. Good thing we have a basketball program.

We had some special players that were supposed to be playing in 2020 on both sides of the ball. To say that the loss of these players will be negligible is foolheaded. This is going to have a noticeable effect on our on-field product. Someone who is THE playmaker and someone who is a serious disruption are gone.

Holgorsen’s tenure going into year two has been tumultuous.

Imagine guys freaking out over a kid that never saw the field, then said guys say there’s an impact. Lol it literally just doesn’t add up. Zero minus zero is still zero. We’ll revisit this post to serve up some crow!

It had to take a lot to dismiss him. So he is now a two time loser being kicked off two teams in two years. I am sure this kid got more than a few chances at UH before they finally said ENOUGH. Yet we have idiots on here mad at Holgy. and staff because a cancer was removed. We appear to have a G5 fan base or a bunch of 18-25 year olds posting here with little maturity.

You get the 85 best players and KIDS you can and go to war with them. We will still bring in 4 or so more players before next year. The best we can get for our needs and play our games next year.

So much unhappy here.

What’s even more crazy is people here failed to realize that in all the instances with players leaving the team CDH has not publicly announced why; it’s a classy move to protect their reputation instead of airing them out to the media. Murphy, King, and now Anoma all had drama surrounding their situations but the details are vague by decision to keep them that way. Meanwhile, Applesauce the horn pulls a jacket off of Ed on national tv and is applauded for it?

I just don’t understand it. People can blame the staff all they want but this is a culture change. Scheme fit, laziness, and guidelines can all get a person released. Buckle up, because it ain’t over yet. Embrace it. You said you wanted change Coogs.

I wish some of our fans would enter the transfer portal. Sure, we need the depth, but if they’re unhappy here, they should move on to a program that hires someone they love and does everything that makes them happy.

Reminds me of LSU transfer in the Herman years that never saw the field.

By the empty seats in the stands it looks like your wish will be granted.

You can’t allow players to do what he is reported to be doing and have any sort of discipline . And if you coddle a kid like this because of his talent you lose the other players. This kid probably wouldn’t have even made the first semester under Sampson. Coach Yeoman had many players kicked off or leave during his tenure because they couldn’t handle things. He had great players leave BUT he always wanted to weed these types out for the betterment of his culture. To our whiney fans just look at how the culture Sampson has instilled has our team out perform many teams with higher stared players. Let Holgy have his first couple of years to instill his culture and players.

GROW UP!

There are some things he does that won’t cut it in the NFL

Sounds like the next star of Last Chance U
