Alabama will be very telling

To be fair, it doesn’t matter how good she looks if you’re not scoring enough. :slightly_smiling_face:

Look just need to beat Alabama and ND period

I neglected to keep up with the schedule and was surprised UH scheduled Alabama and ND back-to-back. I can’t remember the last time we played two good teams in two days that wasn’t tournament play.

She’s actually great at breakfasts. This quiche she made for today is the best thing I’ve ever tasted.

Part of MTE in Vegas. Houston didn’t schd those 2 opponents. The Tournament officials did.

Yep, most of the tough opponents we have played preseason have been in tournaments under coach Sampson.
For the life of me I can’t understand why we can’t get one and ones with really good teams each year like we did with Alabama.
Unfortunately we lost both to the Tide. We were literally robbed there and blew a big lead here before one of the loudest crowds Fertitta Center has seen.
Regardless, I will be at this Alabama fling hoping for revenge in an early season game between two ranked teams.
In reality this game Tuesday means nothing except a little early prestige. along with our Coogs being able to see how far we have come this season.

In looking at 2 different sources, I cannot find any TV listings for the UH basketball games in Las Vegas. Am I missing something?

I believe it’s on TBS

It will also be streaming on Max.

A ND win over Rutgers will benefit us. Since we don’t play Rutgers, even if we win both games, Rutgers could win our group if they also win both and with better margins.

It doesn’t seem likely, but you never know.

Weren’t those Alabama games technically part of the AAC/SEC challenge? Sucks that the B12 lost its challenge with the SEC. Tbh most P5 teams don’t really schedule true H&Hs anymore.

But…but…what if I promise I’ll make pot roast like your mom used to make it?

I’m not worried about results this early in the season. Someone will step up and be a leader in tight moments. Closing out games down the stretch is part of learning. Yes, I realize we still have 4 starters from last season’s roster but Shead was THE guy. I’m okay if we get some early season Ls against tough opponents as long as we’re competitive. Sampson will have the guys primed by Jan 1. It’s all part of learning the system and gelling.

You must not realize you are chatting with the doppelganger for Tom Cruz.
