That’s true. Haven’t seen them in years. Hope all is ok.
Ali passed away very recently. There should be a funeral/remembrance announcement soon.

Sadly she passed away. One of the all-time great Coog fans, Pete & Ali were the OGs of tailgating at UH. Without CALP, there is a bunch of alums who would’ve drifted away from UH like so many of our fans do.
Wonderful lady and will be sorely missed by a lot of people.

I’m so sorry to hear this. I remember them always at the games in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. She was always so sweet and kind. Peace be with her and her family.
This is so sad, she was still young, I’m so sorry for Pete. Ali was a beautiful person in all senses of the word.

Terrible news. Ali and Pete welcomed everyone. CALP, Fall Down Fridays, and a blast of a tailgate at Robertson. I owe a lot of my UH connections to Ali and Pete.
Her memory is already a blessing. Fly High, Ali!

What a tremendous loss. She wasn’t even 60 yet. I am so sad to learn about this.
Ali was a wonderful gal and one-half of a terrific couple. If you had a daughter, you’d want her to be like Ali. And if you had a son, you’d want him to be like Pete.
You are in my prayers, Pete. I can’t imagine your anguish.
Just know that Ali will live on in the hearts and memories of all who knew her until we see her again in heaven.

This is such sad news. My condolences to Pete and family. Back in the day, they seemed inseparable. It wasn’t Pete and it wasn’t Ali, it was always Pete 'n Ali.

Oh no, Ali was so welcoming when I was a student, especially at CALP. I hope Pete is going to be ok. They really are the best.

I found this news on FB early this morning. So heartbreaking to lose Ali. I had Pete on my mind all day.Two beautiful people I have met through Cougar sports.
