Movie or Song?
Song
I’m a child of the 90s. Movie.
Song. One of the greatest of all time!
Song.
Both?
What was the message in each?
Movie: apple pie can be as good as sex, we can all relate right??? (when there’s plenty of the former but not the latter) I mean who among us has not spied on a French foreign exchange student masturbating in our bed, right?
Song: it’s been said that “the day the music died” was when Buddy Holly’s plane crashed in Clear Lake, Iowa on February 3, 1959 killing him, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper. But I disagree. I think the day the music died refers to November 22, 1963.
Thoughts?
Well when you put it like that…LOL
I’m going to stray way off topic, but have you read the Steven King book 11/22/63? Great book!!
No, but I’ll put it on my list. Thanks!
My feeling for the movie is much more superficial than that. Mostly nostalgia really.
I was 15 when that movie came out so I was the target audience. My sense of humor wasn’t fully developed at the time (not that it ever did!). Lol
Don went to my high school
Agreed, great story. Not your typical King supernatural horror.
You just can’t help making everything political can you Johnny?
Yep. I’m a 90s kid.
Movie.
I don’t care how old you are or how developed one’s sense of humor is.
That movie is funny.
Now, speaking with wisdom, go with the song.
Depends are you going for a laugh? Movie all day every day.
Something that will stand the test of time… Song.
