Doesn’t change my opinion. The teams that send more players to the NFL (Alabama, Texas, Michigan types) will receive way more money for NIL than schools like UH. I wouldn’t hope for this idea to come to fruition.
Change is never easy. I still think UH is a sleeping giant.
I’ve been saying that for half a century. Let’s help UH get there.
HC throwing in $$$ helps but what is next ?>
Actually, I think we produced more NFL talent over the last decade than UT.
There were a few years there where we had multiple players drafted and they had none.
Can anyone even name a prominent Longhorn that ever has played for the Texans…even one?
The Franchise is almost 25 years old.
Jeremiah Wilson coming back is very solid! He had 2 picks (one of them a pick six) against Baylor, a pick against Kansas State, and an interception against OU too.
I’d look forward rather than backward, but that being said, UT has had 29 players drafted in the past decade to UH’s 12. Not sure with what the Texans franchise has to do with anything.
Is 12 draft picks a typo? I count 22 UH draft picks in the last 9 years using this list:
Look forward?? All you;ve done is come on the board and post a few times and literally whine about everything. Who cares about NFL draft picks? You sound like some NFL fan…Your stats arent even correct. And Charlie Broadway is correct. Houston has 22 draft picks the last 10 years… NOT 12.
Well I stand corrected. Sorry to bother you so much.
Sheesh. Coming out of the woodwork lately.
They are just responding to you.
She needs to fact check before whining about it.
Looks like we could either a) have some legit QB competition in the Spring OR b) one heck of a new H-back!
Is this a joke? I agree it was not full, but 3k? Lol.
Our seats are in 110. It was 1/2 empty. Students above the band were non existent. Same on opposite side of entry ramp. Opposite end was almost empty. As usual, few behind the bench. Little to no traffic exiting Blue lot. No crowds exiting the center. Those of us that were there were reasonable enthusiastic, but lots and lots of empty seats and on the ticket thread, many give-a-way tickets and garage parking passes.
Nmm
We have to find a place for Criss. Maybe back up QB and also put him out on the wing to catch passes or run…He is a talented skill position player.
To borrow a phrase from Coach Sampson, Chriss may end up being the football team’s “Swiss Army Knife”. QB, WR, TE. Chriss is too good an athlete not to see the field. I just don’t want him passing the ball.
Agreed, he is not the answer at QB.
