Cincinnati’s coach gone today. Along with UCF recently that’s at least 2 Big 12 HC jobs open for next season.

Other schools fired their coach after 3-4 bad seasons while UH sticks with the same coach even after a decade of pitifulness!

Unless Kivett can get some REALLY good players from the portal….and some guys that are capable of pitching to less than a SIX ERA it’s going to be the 4th of July every game.

There are going to be guys that walk more than they K…the staff this year will not be successful next year.
And if they are keeping TW they need to find a top flight pitching coach NOW! You can’t wait until after the tournament….The coach needs to be in ASAP and be attached at the hip with Kivett.
They are going to have to clean house with the pitching staff( save for a few) and bring in basically an entire new staff.
They should have already scoured rosters of basically every team in the country….earmarking any kid they think might enter the portal and if they can help the team….same thing with every team currently in the tourney….be pro active and have your list , ranked, and ready to go…nobody should be taking a day off.

Pezman is on my S list right now for being adamant about keeping the baseball HC and not wanting to pay $1M to flip the cameras in Fertitta so we can see the rowdy student section instead of a half full club section by the floor.
And a million is a number he pulled out of his bung…doubt it would cost that….and the bang would definitely be worth the buck.
