Curious if anyone in Hamas is starving?

Probably not

Irrelevant to the ones who are, isn’t it?

Just the ones that didn’t get blown up by pagers or missled at the hospital

I just asked a question, and if they aren’t, the follow up question is why aren’t they?

Who knows and I also only asked a question about relevance in terms of if and how the food blockade is having the desired impact.

This is why sanctions always work. Leaders feel it, not the regular people. /s

If there’s a food shortage it’s certainly an issue and it needs to addressed. Whether it’s caused by Hamas or Israel or both it needs to be addressed asap.

And my other question, if Hamas isn’t starving why not? How are they getting food and water and others aren’t?

The same way they get arms, smuggled in, no wonder Israel wants to control what gets in.

Following the shift from a UN-led system, food distribution in Gaza is now managed primarily by the U.S.- and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF). This change is highly controversial, and the United Nations (UN) and other aid organizations maintain a severely restricted presence.
Primary food distribution: Gaza Humanitarian Foundation
Establishment: The GHF was created in May 2025 with support from Israel and the United States, following accusations by both nations that Hamas was hijacking UN aid.
Operational model: The GHF replaced the UN’s system of hundreds of distribution points with a small number of centralized, fenced-in “Secure Distribution Sites”. Aid, often in the form of food boxes, is distributed under the security of private American contractors and the Israeli military.
Controversy and danger: Aid sites have been widely condemned as “death traps” by aid groups like Doctors Without Borders and NPR. The sites have led to chaotic and deadly conditions, with reports of Israeli forces and security personnel shooting at starving Palestinians attempting to access food.
Severely restricted UN-led distribution
Before the GHF, UN agencies were the primary distributors of aid, but they are now heavily restricted and banned from operating in some areas. The UN has accused Israel of preventing aid delivery and dismantling its effective aid system.

I have no idea of who might be able to answer that. It’s not like they wear uniforms, badges or other articles of identification.

I guess I still don’t see what strategic, tactical or any whatsoever difference that answer might provide to anyone if anyone were to provide it.

I feel pretty confident that the hostages will remain there while the blockade is ongoing. It’s Netanyahu’s stay out of jail card.

Hamas is likely getting enough money from Iran just to survive and fight but not enough to feed the entirety of Gaza

Our tax dollars have been imprisoning Palestinians for 70 years

Wow you can’t even show support for Palestinians in England

I don’t think it’s so much showing support for Palestinians

It’s more so displaying what society considers or defines to be antisemitism

While I think its way over reaching to arrest peaceful protesters…Eff those idiots in the second half of the video that are vandalizing. They’re hurting the cause way more than helping IMHO.

Come together and peacefully march or sit in until they have to arrest you and maybe even abuse you and the arrest video’s carry more weight and bring more sympathy to the cause. Video of vandalizing does the opposite.

Cold. Blooded. Murder.

No other way to describe this.

Daniel Raab shows no hesitation as he watches footage of 19-year-old Salem Doghmosh crumpling to the ground beside his brother in a street in northern Gaza.

“That was my first elimination,” he says. The video, shot by a drone, lasts just a few seconds. The Palestinian teenager appears to be unarmed when he is shot in the head.

Raab, a former varsity basketball player from a Chicago suburb who became an Israeli sniper, concedes he knew that. He says he shot Salem simply because he tried to retrieve the body of his beloved older brother Mohammed.

“It’s hard for me to understand why he [did that] and it also doesn’t really interest me,” Raab says in a video interview posted on X. “I mean, what was so important about that corpse?”

While we waste our money and resources, countries like China are building up strength by avoiding war these useless wars. The CCP has one singular focus which is to dominate in innovation, economically, and militarily.

The Chinese military has been designed for a war against US. While the US is being dragged into all these useless conflicts. The day where the world we live in turns upside down is getting closer the more we support these pointless wars.

In 1996, the Chinese tried to intimidate Taiwan with missile tests and once the US sent in our Aircraft carriers, the Chinese pissed their beds and backed off.

Now in less than 30 years, the gap has significantly decreased.
