Anti-Palistinianism can be ignored

May 2024 ceasefire proposal: A Qatari-Egyptian proposal presented in May was accepted by Hamas, but rejected by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who called it “far” from Israeli demands. Netanyahu also vowed to proceed with a military operation in Rafah, “with or without a deal,” further undermining the ceasefire efforts.

Mind reading, in other words, is still speaking for others.

Speculative inference and declarative determination of the opinions of others are two completely different things. One is a sane, mature and stable thought process. The other not so much.

Are you getting personal?

Posts so simpleton in nature are easy enough to interpret. Nothing to speculate. But you’ve said it before, you’re a literalist.

I have never said that.

do you know exactly what was in this deal that was deemed unacceptable by BB?

93 percent destruction to all residential buildings

Nothing like just flat out advocating for genocide. What kind of POS are you?

Meanwhile, Hamas is publicly executing Gazans.

I’m not defending Hamas at all. They are the result of decades of abuse by Israel and Israelis. Still, they need to go.

Meanwhile, Israel has already killed 6 Palestinians trying to get back to Gaza, claiming they crossed an invisible yellow line.

Kiss the truce goodbye already?

Can you believe this guy, @Travelingcoog ?

@Coogcheese is blaming Israel for the existence of Hamas lmao

Hamas the pos vermin’s are the result of “Palestine” attacking the holy land of Israel, so it’s time Palestine takes accountability for their actions

Let’s get off the idea that the victims of terrorism (in this case Israel) are somehow to blame for the existence of or actions of terrorists and other violent extremists (in this case, Hamas).

Haters are gonna hate. It’s not the fault of the people that they hate that the haters hate. The fault and blame for that is SOLELY on the haters. The people hated didn’t “create” the haters.

I heard people in the USA (mostly on the Left) do the same thing after 9/11. The tried to insinuate that America was to blame for the existence of al-Qaeda and their attacks because of “imperialism,” “supporting XYZ,” etc.

Really. STOP IT!!!

The good guys aren’t to blame for the existence of and actions committed by BAD ACTORS.

That’s like blaming a victim of crime for the criminal’s actions and/or claiming that the criminal’s actions resulted from something that the victim either did or failed to do.

Absolutely NONSENSE of course.

Yup America history is infallible

No one is saying the USA is infallible, or has never made any mistakes, foreign or domestic.

But blaming the victims of a crime for a crime (and yes, that includes terrorism, which is indeed a crime) for a crime, is preposterous.

They are victims to Imperialism. You have to be blind to think it benefits everyone and there will be no negative effect

So you don’t want the USA to be imperialist?

Are you willing to sacrifice financial security for the sake of Palestine’s prosperity?

If that’s the case, then are you willing to sacrifice for climate change? Are you willing to sacrifice for systemic economic racism? Ending NIMBYism/zoning?

Israel/Palestine isn’t a distant issue that has no effect on American economics and/or national security. It seems that way to many ignorant “Pro-Palestine” defenders because it is distant.

Do I personally condone Israel murdering innocent Palestinians? Absolutely not. The reality is the status quo (Israel’s occupation of Palestine) is the status quo. This conflict didn’t begin 10/7. It’s been going on for decades, but you didn’t have to personally worry about it because it’s baked into the American status quo. A true, free Palestine is a threat to Israel, thus a threat to American interest in that region.

There is a reason why China or Russia do not defend Israel like the US does. Because they don’t have to. Why? Because the US does.

9/11 was a direct result of imperialism. This was said by Bin Laden himself. However, it was also the result of internal failures between the CIA & FBI

Unfortunately, imperialism is why American is prosperous (though that’s separate from my opinion that fossil fuel-based economics is completely unsustainable).

KKK/Skinsheads are the result of historic racism. They are the demographic of people who choose not to deviate from what America once was, legally racist.

But despite the social progress in America, the fiscal progress is still very much conservative regardless of party lines

OK, so OBL can be taken at his word and is a trustworthy guy.

Riiiiiiiiight.

Let me ask you this. Do you believe that OBL was correct, and that his gripes with the USA were legit?

Come on now.

This guy was pissed that US forces (whom he considered infidels) were on Saudi soil at both the request of the Saudi government AND in accordance with the UN Security Council to fight of Saddam’s invasion of the Arabian peninsula and threat to Saudi Arabia…and that has to do with his own bigotry and religious extremism/intolerance.

The USA didn’t make him that way. He became that way, either on his own, or through tutelage from other intolerant religious extremists.

He’s responsible for his own bigotry and intolerance…and any violently extremist acts he orchestrates or participates in as a result of them.

NOT the USA.

Who said anything about Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Arabia benefits from the same thing that the USA benefits from. Oil.

Bin Laden doesn’t come from oil money. He comes from construction money. He does not share the same values as Saudi Arabia (in which Saudi Arabia’s religous values are intertwined with Oil Money) and was thus exiled from Saudi Arabia.

In other words, Bin Laden’s beliefs were threatening to Saudi’s economic system.

Suadi Arabia has a relationship with the USA, largely economic, because of Oil.

Actually, he shares the overall religiously extreme views of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (where women aren’t allowed to drive, and all religions other than an extremist variant of Sunni Islam are officially banned and outlawed; even Shia Islam, of which about 5% of Saudis are adherents, is officially PERSECUTED there). Atheism is a capital crime in Saudi Arabia, as is apostasy. In fact, one 2014 decree there defined atheism as terrorism.

Except that he took it to a whole new level by protesting the Saudi’s government allowing what he considered to be infidels (troops from the USA, etc) on what he considered to be the holy soil of Islam (Islam’s holy sites of Mecca and Medina are located in Saudi Arabia) to fight against Saddam. He called for raising an all-Jihadi Army to fight Saddam instead, rather than the USA led coalition, which he had intolerant and bigoted extremis religious objections to; nevermind that that is what the UN Security Council called for.

His opposition to that and hardcore protests against that is what got him exiled.

Ironically, his family’s construction business benefitted directly from the oil money that made the Saudi government what it is via construction contracts from said government.
