Most social media has become a cesspool of either far left radicalism or far right extremism… Facebook far right. But when you look at Reddit, very far left.
X, in my opinion, is more in the middle. Yeah, this is a bit of both on there, but again, I would say it’s more center.
Facebook just feeds you things that you like.
I don’t do reddit at all so I’ll refrain on commenting on it.
Facebook I do, and X I only look at when someone posts
something that has an X link in it. To me they are both bad in terms
of lack of moderation. X has Community Notes and on FaceBook only
thing I’ve found is blocking the nuts. But this was the goal of
Musk and Zuckerberg to get out of moderation business. IMHO it’s
failing on both.
But in terms of hateful crap, like the antisemitism stuff we are
discussing here, it shouldn’t be a left or right thing at all. It’s just
wrong. That stuff has no business on social media.
Facebook literally is what you make it… my Facebook has almost zero politics discussed… almost…

That’s shocking. I expected Islamic countries to have unfavorable views of Jews, but not predominantly Christian ones.
I was born and raised in Louisiana and came to Houston the summer before my 7th grade year. Until that time I had never met anyone Jewish. When I went to Jane Long Jr. High there were a lot of Jewish students and they were like everyone else. The first girl I ever went steady with was Jewish. I have never, and will never, understand the hatred towards Jews.

This seems like rule enforcement and not anti-semitism.
I have mixed feelings about them, and I haven’t quite looked into all their activities. I would probably weigh it on a case by case basis, now I don’t think we should be publishing people’s home address’s or harassing their neighbors, baby sitter, or whatever… however, I do think that antisemetic politicians, media figures, health care professionals and teachers mostly should get exposure. Though I’m not sure where the line should be drawn, and if it should be drawn the same way every time. I mean, if Joe the plumber wants to talk about the Rothschild’s, Jewish space lasers, and such… well, I don’t want to do business with him but I don’t care. If Joe the plumber is talking about harming Jews (or anyone else for that matter), I care. If Joe was an emergency room doctor, then I might have more concerns for the space lasers and such talk - even if he hasn’t said anything about harming people.
