I think you’re confusing African Americans with Jewish people.
African Americans were given nothing.
Jews faced discrimination, but they were pigeonholed into the arts and finance, which at the time, were not considered very prestigious.
Those 2 industries in particular of course ended up being some of the most lucrative industries.

I’ve already stated above that the Israel lobby is beneficial for American geopolitical interest. I’m merely expressing the reality of American antisemitism from a birds-eye view.
I allude it to my stance on religion. I don’t personally have faith in any religion (which is my right), but I also understand how vital religion is to the overall fabric of society despite its flaws.
Society needs religion or else it will go into chaos. Even myself, who doesn’t believe in any religion, can see how religion is almost essential for society in the aggregate.
