I am Catholic and I don’t recognize the vatican.
You know why?
They helped the p.o.s. nazis to escape to Spain, Portugal, all over South and Central America, the U.S., Asia and Africa. The vatican directly helped the p.o.s. nazis to kill Jews. This is well documented.
Another reason why?
The vatican has known for centuries about sexual abuses of minors.
The vatican has known about it and done nothing.
The vatican is p.o.s epstein multiplied by the millions.
Moreover:
The same vatican is letting chinese catholics being persecuted. The same vatican signing an accord with xi, the chinese dictator to do whatever the blip he wants with Catholics in china.
The vatican puts to shame the Casa Nostra.
That’s fine, and that’s your prerogative.
But guess what?
We can’t allow a lady that lies and says that the Catholic Church is anti-Zionist (which is what she was doing) on ANY committee designed to combat anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism.
I’m sure you at least agree with me on that, right?
This lady was trying to use RELIGION to justify her own anti-Zionism (which, I’m sure we both agree is anti-Semitism).
That’s the LAST person we want on a committee holding a meeting to discuss how to combat anti-Semitism.
Did I write anything to the contrary?
Last I saw she was saying that Dan Patrick didn’t have the power to remove her. That she could only be removed by the President. Is it official now that she’s been removed? Headlines seem to say so but then the body of the articles really just rehashes what was known without any statement from the White House. I hope she’s really gone from this commission, but I’m sure we haven’t heard the last of her.
Not sure why you pivoted the way you did in your last post, as if any of that was relevant or on point.
Well, seems the mayor did the right thing in responding this way.
More disturbing to me is the 'Khaybar’ reference thing. Not being a student or
knowledgeable about all things in Jewish or Islamic history, this really caught my eye. If the Khaybar thing is widely held belief across all sects of Islam, there will
never be any resolution between these religions.
The graffiti referenced ‘Khaybar,’ a historic region in 7th-century Arabia where a battle between Muslims and Jews resulted in the mass expulsion and slaughter of the Jewish community. This deeply problematic reference not only shifts the complex Israeli-Palestinian conflict into a religious battle between Islam and Judaism but also carries an implicit threat of armed violence or forcible expulsion against Jews today.
Are there any ongoing discussions between Rabbis and Imams addressing coexistence, kind like with Catholics and some protestants ?
Yes. Absolutely. Also rabbis with clergy from different Christian denominations.
I am not familiar with the Khaybar issue/history and I agree the Mayor did the right thing.
Were they indoctrinated?
West Bloomfield Township, Michigan. Vehicle ramming and active shooter at a synagogue.
My wife’s uncle retired 2 years ago from HCSO. He worked at a Jewish center every Saturday for extra duty for a large number of years.
