In addition to James’ accolade, senior pitcher Savannah Heebner was named to The American Weekly Honor Roll. In two appearances in the circle, Heebner went 2-0 with a 0.95 ERA across 14 innings pitched, where she earned both of the Houston’s wins against UCF.

Heebner also put her efficiency on display, earning each win using less than 100 pitches. She helped her own cause at the plate, posting a .571 batting average and driving in two runs, while scoring another in the games she pitched.
