Agree.
And I think the same for “loose” when “lose” was meant. I honestly think 80% of the times sports fans mean “lose” they type “loose”.
I try not to “loose” it when that happens!

Hello. Almost half the roster is walk-ons. Even some of the scholarships are filled by walk-ons. One is the ADs kid. One is Lloyd’s kid.
Legit scholarships:
Bradley
Love
Lewis
Dell’Orso
Bryant
Townsend
Awaka
Veesaar
Krivas
Stephen
Investment international earning scholarship but who will never play major minutes (possible future euro recruiting connection).
Martinez
Everyone else is a walk-on.
It wouldn’t shock me if the Walk-ons get a level of NIL, especially the international ones who all may have big picture upside for recruiting, assuming players stick.
Lloyd has already lost Adama Bal and Paulius Murauskas, both are starters putting up good numbers for Santa Clara and Fresno State, so even Internationals are getting impatient with small roles. Imagine this Arizona squad with the 14-3-3 SG Adama Bal who shoots 38% on 6 3FGA per, and the 13-8 PF Paulius Murauskas who is shooting over 50% on midrange jumpers.
Internationals can’t get NIL. At least that’s what we’ve been told.
There’s ways around it. But it’s not as direct.
Interesting. One of our guys Ced Lath is how I heard about it. Somehow he was able to get some NIL when we took a trip overseas last year, but cant get it while in the US due to student visa rules (I think).
Snoop, Snoop, Snoop!
Lol
It is definitely “student visa” related because those stipulate an educational focus and not a professional one. I’m not smart enough to know the end around, but I know it exists.
From what I recall, Ced had to be “employed” back home… outside the US.
