How does Arizona have 20 players on its roster? What are the limits? Is this a $ thing?

Arizona has 20 players with stats at ESPN which i think means none of these 20 players took a red shirt year. This provides some serious depth!

Don’t have any answers but the first thing that jumps out to me about their roster is how much international talent there is. 7 foreign born players! Has to be the most in the country.

They are now allowed 15 scholarship players, I couldn’t find any thing on non scholarship players.

There Head Coach was a longtime assistant at Gonzaga responsible for a lot of their Intl recruiting. The guy is very well connected overseas.

They have at least 7 walk-ons. Never seen a team with that many.

I do… just let it slide. It’s like could care less… everyone in the universe gets that it doesn’t kinda make sense but it’s just what people say.

Edit: it’s not that big a deal, like verse vs. versus is. That one deserves to be called out.

Guess the athletic departments are over flowing with cash !!!

With NIL, you don’t have to worry about players affording school tuition anymore. Just pay them and they can pay it out of pocket.

It’s nothing like verse and verses. There and their are completely different words. I learned the difference in junior high. We are a college board and should know proper grammar.

I highly doubt the guy doesn’t know the difference. Probably just typing on a phone and either had it autocorrect to the wrong form. You guys losing it over a typo is funny.

ummmm… verse and versus are completely different words. Not that big a deal either.

Their there they’re etc. is usually just someone typing fast on a phone. Ive known the difference forever and I’ve done it plenty of times in a hurry. Not worth the callout.

Mistakes should be tolerated but pointing them out shouldn’t be.

That’s correct… in a message board context it generally reflects more poorly on the one calling it out.

(Unless ofc it’s verse vs versus… that’s a sports thing and should be chastised)
