Big night for the conference

UCF loses a series to FAU and a midweek game to Stetson and then bounces back and takes 2 out of 3 against the #1 team in the nation on the road. Go figure lol
Ole Swing and Miss was fortunate to escape with one win - capitalizing on a two out error in the bottom of the ninth that would have ended the game - to eke out the lone victory. Just looking around the early scores from the first couple of weekend - this breaking news bulletin will surprise no one - the SEC is vastly overrated.
Sure wish we would appear in the Top 25.
Hopefully, weâll win this TX series, and that will be enough!
So UCF wins series on the road against (then) #1 Ole Miss. They were a 2-out bottom of the ninth error away from sweeping Ole Miss. Ol Miss falls three spots to #4, but UCF canât even sneak into Top 25?
Am I just missing them on the list?
And uta holds at 19 with a 3-4 record.
Well thatâs good for us, since weâre playing them this weekend.
1-3 against mediocre competition prior to that
Conference looks strong so farâŠ
Interesting game tonight for UH fans: last opponent AMCC plays next opponent, UT in Austin tonight.
I see our future opponent, Prairie View A & M - College Station Campus hosts HBU tonight.
I think the TSU subsequent results curbed a little enthusiasm that our opening weekend series would be a good barometer. I am interested in how well the Islanders fare against the Horns - because the Horns are supposed to be good this year - I think.
[update] - the Horns beat the Islanders 12-1. Looks like this weekendâs series will be the most accurate measuring stick to date.
College baseballâŠlove it !
Damn that L to LamarâŠ
