I don’t think Colorado Mesa or New Mexico Highlands will be canceling games because the opposing coach will bring attention and fans to the game.

I always liked Kevin Fite, good guy.
I think that Art took the fall for an administration that tried to cover up the scandal. From some accounts I’ve read, he went to the administration and they did what they could to sweep it under the rug. This was also told to me by a friend who was a huge BU fan and booster with a lot of inside connections. Regardless, 10 years is plenty long enough for being held accountable for what a few 18-23 year old guys did away from football.

By the by, my wife obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from ENMU while we lived in Ruidoso. They had a Branch Campus there.
We were so proud! She was 59 years old on that day.
The Main Campus is in Portales. Small town,small campus. Portales High School uses The Greyhounds Stadium. Yep, it essentially is a High School Stadium.
The town is fairly plain, is between Roswell and Clovis. High Plains.
In other words Art, at age 69, has arrived at the bottom of the barrel.
