He was our mid-week starter for a little bit last year until he got hurt again. Was hoping he’d come back as he was stellar in summer ball, but he ended up moving on. Good to see him land on his feet and do well:
Since arriving in Canyon, Marshal has thrived. He’s already tied a school-record for strikeouts in a single game with 17 at Eastern New Mexico and currently leads all of Division II baseball in strikeouts. His knack for collecting “K’s” has turned into a bit of an obsession.
