There may be plenty more to talk about in the coming weeks. UH is the underdog in just two of the final 15 games of the regular season (Feb. 7 at AAC preseason favorite Central Florida and March 10 at defending champion Cincinnati).

That would translate to a 28-3 regular season.

“I don’t overreact to losses, and I don’t overreact to wins,” Sampson said.
