At the WC the US loses to Japan in football, not soccer, but football!

How did this happen? Did we send a middle school team? Apparently Japan dominated the game?!?

I would guess that the team is not comprised of anything near our top tier of youth football players. Kids probably excited and whose parents could afford the trip

I know it might not be our best, but still…it’s our game. It was the U20 world championships.

The American football World Cup team is largely made up of lower division (II and III) college football players.

Any NFL team would wipe the floor with the international opposition.
