After four games, we are averaging 31,454 or a Robertson sell-out each game. Another way is a 78% capacity (40,000 seats).
Need a few more good ones to increase it more!

Cincinnati and Baylor should have very good draws… hopefully evening games ![]()
We have homecoming and senior days left.
Sure glad we didn’t get a home game on Halloween night. Better yet we got our off day.
I propose numbering the attendance threads and then capping them
I just hope we can get folks out for Cincinnati and Baylor. I hope the horrible experience many had with traffic, parking, and exiting the garage doesn’t keep them away.
I don’t know how parking and exiting was at the other lots, but it took me a very long time to get into the garage and even longer to get out since I had to park on the roof.
Funkstadamus is making one of his stone cold lock predictions. 10 years from now the roof of the garage will be exclusively for flying taxis. Some car salesmen around the loop border are going to be converting their lots to taxi hubs.
RobDobb will be in a 100-seat accordion Google taxi, look up and say:
“Funk told us dilapidated parking lots were the wave of the future.”
The stated numbers are worse than government reported inflation
There MAY have been 12000 for UCF, and that other little school that we drubbed was poorly attended as well. Oregon state wasn’t packed, and Saturday’s game while certainly good, still had large chunks of unoccupied seats in all the upper corners
Every game is do or die for us - lose one and we’re out of it - win and I think we’re in
If the Coogs bring back a W on Saturday night, TDECU will have a playoff atmosphere until we get eliminated from the college playoffs or win the natty.
I know Coogfans trots this out regularly as an excuse, but this time it’s actually real – a ton of those folks were watching from the concourse. I watched the entire second half from the concourse near the student section, and I know I wasn’t the only one. I also saw a substantial cohort watching from the bridges between the 300 level and Queenie’s. We’re never going to pack folks into seats that are worse than SRO.
That’s a thing that happens basically everywhere that has anywhere in the stadium where the field is visible from a non-seating area, btw.
The concourses were always packed and there were sections of the stadium that people stood in the whole game like the 300s upper concourse and the bridges to Queenies. Maybe not 42k but at least 38k+ (I am one of those that thanks our attendance is half of what is announced half the time, but Saturday I sat back and though wow we really did it.)
FOMO: People are more likely to come back to a fun full game with bad concession lines and bad parking then return to an empty stadium with no concession line and easy parking. I bet we picked up some fans and the drone show is something we can do and the Texans and Astros really can’t.
I think these are from 6 minutes before the half.
Concourse - Smoncourae
Your first picture shows what I said it was - mostly empty in the corners
Our attendance was highly respectable and great to see, but we were not standing room only
There were so many plays reviewed in the first half it’s no wonder concessions sold out
UH is a playoff team as of now and attendance will rise and fall with that prospect from now until the end of the season
Baylor should be a good draw, I know that Cincinnati has a good record, but I don’t think their name has much of a draw to it.
I know when we are trying to figure out attendance we look around the stadium and see how many empty seats there are, but the other night the concourses were extremely full. I would take less gains attendance for all the rest of the cougar games we ever have!
Holy sh**t, Hitler has come back from the dead!
We already have our Jeff, @JeffM_CP, he’s probably already tried this tactic
Nunez could not have scripted a better atmosphere or more exciting game. Well done.
