It’s hard to coach at Auburn. Their expectations are sky high, but they are in the same division as Alabama, LSU, aTm, Ole Miss and Miss State. Even if they win their division, there’s Florida, UGA, and Tennessee to deal with.

The problem with coaching in the SEC is that everyone is a titan (except for Vandy and Kentucky) and every fan base remembers when they were on top of the heap and think they should be there right now.

I wouldn’t mind him in scarlet and white but that’s not happening. He’ll be a head coach somewhere next year.
We couldn’t afford Malzahn and his assistants.
Also, if successful, he wouldn’t stay long.
Otherwise, it is an intriguing thought.
