He won plenty here…When he was first hired, our program was in really bad shape. He told me more than once that he HAD to win here, and turn it around. Or their might not be any UH football any more. He DID win, turned our program around and saved it. I will always be grateful to him for that.

ven with Pat Mahomes back there I don’t think we win more than 6-7 games.

It is interesting you bring up Mahomes, he could plug and play any receiver and win, same with Brady. When they lost key receivers, many said the offense will struggle. But great QB play can move the ball against the best defenses. It takes accuracy, good reads, good decisions in RPO and talent. The GOATS like Mahomes and Brady are hard to find, but are pretty to watch. If you put Mahomes in Barbays offense we would have been unstoppable.

I think it’s just too easy with all the online opportunities. It isn’t like it used to be following a schedule all day Monday through Thursday or Friday.

This! I know that it’s next to impossible to fail at Dickinson. It gets to May 1st, and you have a 16 in English or math, just do the online program and you’re good to go.

You could tell how good a hire was just based on the first year.

Jack Pardee was a horrible hire.
4-6-1 his 1st year.
Shut out 35-0 in his 1st game.
Started off 1-6 vs all teams and 0-6 vs D1.
3 of the wins were vs 3-8 Temple, 2-9 Rice, and 1AA SHSU
