Individually the Green Wave is led offensively by Kolby Morgan who averages 18.1 points per game, while Leslie Vorpahl contributes 12.2 per contest. Tulane is a balanced team on the glass, with both Harlyn Wyatt and Meredith Schulte leading the team with 5.1 rebounds per game.

For the 14th time this season, the Cougars won the battle in bench points. Houston’s reserves outscored Tulane’s bench 34-26.

Houston begins a 2-game homestand when they welcome Temple to town on Jan. 18. Tipoff against the Owls is scheduled for 7 p.m. The Cougars will follow that with a 2 p.m., tipoff against in-state rival SMU on Jan 21. The matchup against the Mustangs will air on the American Digital Network.
