SCOUTING THE BULLS USF enters play with a 20-6 overall record and a 9-4 mark in American Athletic Conference play, following a pair of losses last week. The Bulls fell to in-state rival UCF 66-62 on Tuesday, before dropping a top-25 matchup with Temple on Sunday, 77-71.
As a team, the Bulls score 71.7 points per game while holding their opponents to just 58.9 points per contest. From the field, USF shoots 43.4 percent while making 33.0 percent of their 3-point attempts. Conversely, the Bulls hold opponents to 36.9 percent from the field and 30.7 percent from deep.
Individually, the Bulls are led offensively by a trio of players that average double-figure scoring. Kitija Laksa, one of the top scorers in the conference leads the team with 19.2 points per game, while Maria Jespersen scores 15.2 and Ariadna Pujol contributes 12.9 points per game. On the glass, Jespersen paces USF by pulling down 9.1 rebounds per contest.

Houston: Sophomore forward Serithia Hawkins had a monster game for the Cougars, matching a career-high with 16 points and pulling down 10 rebounds for her 10th career double-double. Senior Jacqueline Blake picked up her seventh straight double-digit scoring game, and eighth in her last nine games, with 14 points.
USF: USF had four players reach double figures in scoring including Kitija Laksa and Ariadna Pujol who tied for the game-high 24 points. Pujol completed the double-double with a game-high 14 rebounds. Maria Jespersen added 12 points, while Laia Flores just missed a triple-double with 10 points, nine boards and nine assists.

With seven points against USF, freshman Jasmyne Harris moved into seventh on the all-time freshman scoring list with 298 in her young career. With her 3-point field goal in the game, Harris moved into a tie for third on the freshman list with teammate Angela Harris (43).
With a steal in the game, Angela Harris now has 49 in her career, moving her into sixth on the freshman list, passing teammate Serithia Hawkins’ rookie mark from last season.
