I care if games are attended, because I attend games and that’s a better experience with a bigger crowd.
Tbh I don’t think we should be talking.
West Virginia’s stadium had mostly empty bleachers in the upper decks today. It is so much easier to stay home and watch your team on TV and every other game to choose from all day. Oh, and the taxes the average person pays and the cost of living sucks.
True. Nothing beats a packed house cheering for the Coogs.
That just reminded me of our 60-40 comeback win against UT when Johnny Jackson had 3 pick sixes. Now back to the BU attendance thread.
West Virginia has a losing team. Coogs were ranked and had homecoming and a lot didn’t show. Granted those were morning games. I just don’t think we should rag on others attendance when ours is not consistently good.
I respect your opinion but you’re wrong. Talk crap where you can, be a menace.
This is how rivalries are started, improved, and maintained
I agree, glass houses and all that.
We can talk trash about football all day.
But when you talk trash about someone else’s attendance when your team is dead last in attendance, doesn’t sound good.
Coogs didn’t have facilities good enough to join the big 12 if they did I think we probably gotten in our facilities was very bad back in the day
I saw the students swaying and told my wife they are begging for a lawsuit from the ags.
No, other way around 60-40 Baylor…
I agree, great pre game atmosphere like the students running from one end of the field to the other forming a line where the football team comes out… Can not get the video to copy…
So are we saying there were 7k+ UH fans there? I’d be really happily surprised if that was the case.
Whaaat?! Swingers’ parties in Waco?
Who’d a thunk? ![]()
Thank you for the numbers but we all know there is no way that many people went through the turnstiles.
baylor seating colors is pretty smart. They have yellow and other seat colors. It looks more full that way on tv. When the cameras zoomed in you saw a bunch of empty seats. There was maybe 23 to 25k at most that showed up.
Yeah a lot of empties so you could be right
There is nothing else to do in Morgantown. There is plenty to do in Houston area. And, hard to get a casual fan when most game times are posted the Sunday or Monday before. 6 day window is a joke, make it 13 days.
How about set times during pre season so people do semi-vacations to the games?
We had between 500 to 1k UH fans. About 25k Baylor fans.
