Baylor cancels another game 🤨

This is pathetic. Baylor still has no control over their program or is it the undefeated Cowboys they are dodging?

Once again, Baylor has had a major scheduling announcement. Because of a coronavirus outbreak within the football program, Baylor’s home game Oct. 17 against Oklahoma State has been postponed for later in the year. The Big 12 announced in a press release that it was rescheduling the game to either December 12 or December 19.

Mack needs toi call Dana to get some advice on how to stay COVID free so Baylor can compete and complete theiir season. At this pace it will be March 2021 before Baylor finishes their schedule.

I don’t know many people that would call Baylor such a thing.

BU is not the only one having issues…

FAU confirms 18 players, 9 staffers tested positive

Florida Atlantic coach Willie Taggart on Monday confirmed that 18 players and nine football staff members tested positive for COVID-19 last week, leading to the postponement of Saturday’s game against Southern Miss.

Covid is so unpredictable and when it actually shows. You can test Friday, but contracted it Thursday and get a false negative cause it hasn’t popped up yet and playing Saturday. Folks know that.

Yep,

I am just poking at Mack since he called out Dana multiple times with a call to Pez and then bashing Dana with the media since he said Dana was unprofessional by his statement that “we all know where we stand testing wise, why did it take until Friday afternoon before we cancel the game.” The belief is that Mack dumped on Dana to avoid heat from the press on why he cancelled the UH game so late.

Well I beg to differ on other issues. Covid IS predictable when, people gather in large areas for parting, large gatherings without masks, or just total disregards of being careful for one’s self and every one else. Also, for those that believe they are invincible, covid has attacked, and destroyed that invincibility. And I don’t mean anything political about it, just truth of what I have seen!

^^^^ As usual, Baylor shows a lack of institutional control. We very well may have dodged a bullet when this game was cancelled.

That’s the issue - non-players who are around the program can wreck havoc if they are not in the bubble. Are they tested at other places? Are they the root cause?

Baylor is out of control. They either have a crap process and set of controls in place to control the virus outbreak or their players are breaking their own protocols. It is probably both.

The press needs to drill Mack and Dave and Mack will not have Dana this time to deflect the hard questions.

Eventually they need to start forfeiting games for they cannot extend the season forever to work around their COVID breakouts.

Hadn’t thought about Duarte’s earlier COVID counting for all Texas programs. Hopefully, football is the only thing on his mind now.

Wife and I both said Baylor have nothing to do in WACO. They need to all stay locked down while they are there. Even in Houston, we can’t just let the players hang out, but Waco really need to get a handle on this.
