A six run game is not closing anything Law….its mop up, no pressure.
It was a 3 run game when he came in, I believe.
Yeah it was 7-4 after a home run, that’s why they went to Roman.
According to the box score, he was credited with a save.
That’s what CLOSERS do. SAVE games. Isn’t it? Looks to me like he did his job successfully, or at least, the scorer thought so.
So based on that, I will respectfully disagree.
Yes, I didn’t realize it was a three run game when he came in….

I think UH has a good chance of being a Big12 contender and getting to the NCAA Tournament.
It has been quite a few years the last time we made it to the NCAA Tournament!
I saw them play Sunday.
Surpised how few seats are at Berkeley’s diamond.
