Best Chance for a Q1 wins?

I’m rooting for them!

At this point we should want UCF to win all their games except when they play us. Then we could have two more q1 wins in conference. Memphis will continue to have inconsistent play and bad losses which will make sure they aren’t a Q1. Frankly, UCF is the better TEAM.
Let’s Go UCF!!

Agree. Nice to see the big jump after crushing SMU. UCF moving to Q1 would be a huge help in our quest for 1 seed. We need Cincy and Memphis to keep winning too. The rest of the AAC can burn…

Used to be AAC was filled with teams that were KenPom 130 or better. was actually a great conference to keep a team sharp and get quality wins. The road games were tests as each team was good enough to beat anyone on their home court. But last few years the league has just gotten worse and worse.

The bottom tended to be bad in the AAC but the middle has gotten a lot worse. Cincinnati is in a rebuild, Temple is inconsistent, SMU is in a rebuild, Tulane never does good work in non-conf, and Wichita St fell off the map.

The bottom used to just be Tulane and ECU. That’s 9 other teams that were good for us to play. Now everyone not Memphis, UCF, and Cinci is a bottom

The problem is Cincinnati, Temple, Wichita St. Coaching changes there have hurt our conference

Wichita St was slipping a little bit after the 2017-18 season. Greg Marshall gets fired and now under Isaac Brown, they suck.

If those (3) programs are good. With Houston, a decent Memphis and a decent UCF.

That’s (6) solid programs. Now, we’re in the same discussion as a Big East.

ECU, Tulane, USF have always been bad.

And SMU and Tulsa can usually get some talent, but cant win at a high level with it

UCONN leaving the conference after 2019-2020 season, also didnt help

Yeah. There hasn’t been a team that could go 0-3 against us in conference play and could get a bid regardless since Cinci in 2019

It is sad to see the decline in good programs like Temple, Cincy, SMU and Wichita St. Usually there is some sort of balance but it seems all of them have nose-dived at the same time. The OOC losses have been a back breaker… and Memphis will always be Memphis… can not count on stability there.

I remember hearing a lot of hype about how good Memphis’ schedule was but as of rn they played less Q1 and Q2 games than us in the non-conference. 10-3 on a soft schedule, is not a recipe for a strong tournament resume. They need to start figuring out how go 11-2 or better.
