Best UH def. CF’s

Who have been our best def CF’s in our history?

All time? I don’t know but Fulmer impressed me when he was here with his range and arm.

Michael Bourne comes to mind.

I was thinking Bourne played right? Could be wrong.

How about Brandon Carraway?

Mike used to get to balls that seemed impossible….talk about an extra gear. :dash: :dash:

And he had a really good throwing arm.

Brandon Caraway made some of the most spectacular plays I’ve seen at any level of baseball.

Pressley was a good defender

Forgot about him……

Remember the days we had Freshmen come in and play really well.

Loved watching Caraway.

Looks like he has a son who’s graduating from high school next yr. Anyone know how good his son is?

Looks like his son has committed to Baylor

Do you blame him?

Not at all.

The program has gone to hell.

Bourn played CF here. He went on to be a 2X MLB Gold Glover and All Star CF so I guess he was OK.

Tab Tracy only made 5 starts here before transferring to be a backup at Texas A&M. Still has a couple years of eligibility though.

I’d have to go back and review the old rosters to refresh my memory of other CFs, but Drew Bianco was excellent defensively last season. For example:

Eric played RF. Caraway was in CF those years.

I can’t remember. Did Geoffrey Tomlinson play CF when he was at UH. He was an All-American.

If he played CF, then he’d have to be in the conversation.

Now that you say that it sounds right for their senior year, but I think he may have played CF when Caraway was still at 2nd the prior year(s)
