2025 (10-3) Beat LSU in Texas Bowl

‘15, tie between ‘11 & ‘25, ‘21.

Left off the‘06 campaign as that precedes my time so can’t truly evaluate that year.

That is actually how I would rank them.

2011, 2015, 2021, 2025, 2006

2011 over 2015 since the one loss in 2011 was a better team than 2015’s UCONN loss.
I think the 2021 team is always underrated here. 5 guys on that defense and 3 guys on the offense got drafted (over the next 2 years), and there were other high contributors.

I will go 2015, 2025, 2011 and 2016. 2025 is my 2nd because they played a lot tougher schedule than the 2011 team. That team beat UCLA in first game, Penn St in last game, and had a bad loss to So Miss…rest of schedule pretty weak.

And 2015 won a conference championship and a NY6 Bowl game, beat 4 ranked teams (1-1 against ranked teams in 2011) including 2 Top 15 teams. Like the level of accomplishment blows 2011 out of the water.

2025 is the obvious choice.

  1. We are in a power conference again.
  2. HCWF had to rebuilt an entire squad from scratch
  3. All, yes all media pundits idiots predicted that we would be 4-8
    This team has been has been “trashed” by the media all season long.
