Peacock is really great, but I say that as a woman who likes Bravo shows.
We have:
AppleTV
Disney+ / ESPN+ / Hulu (free with my phone plan)
Netflix (free with my husband’s phone plan)
HBOMax
Peacock
Prime
I used to have Fubo, but it got crazy expensive. I need to figure out what streaming service is best for sports for football season. Any thoughts? I need to figure this out quickly.
I went back to DirecTV when Fubo priced themselves higher and I got tired of trying to chase down TNT/TBS games on Max, which is kind of a weird set-up for sports. I don’t think you’ll save much money, though.
It really is kind of a beatdown to try to find games on whatever different platform they’re on for a given game.
Hasn’t really gone up. Biggest difference between the AAC and B12 is we have games on FS1 now instead of ESPNU. Looked up Rice’s schedule last year. They played 8 games on ESPN+. So I think if wed stayed in the American it’d be even worse. Its just direction the sport is going.

From Heartland College Sports, just one opinion though. The peacock games are way down the pecking order if you read the whole article.
“My guess is Fox will sub-license the games it considers least desirable. In other words, viewers are unlikely to see Houston or Kansas on Peacock — unless NBC wants to flex it onto its linear channel.”
We were on ESPN+ way too much last year for the number consistently by our name. This is Yormark fixing that.
Although the games on NBC Peacock will not be premier Big 12 games, Yormark is getting more money for them. Otherwise, those games would be on ESPN+ with no added monetary value.
That and getting in bed with more networks, bolds well for the next contract.
First Sunday of NFL has worked for me with the CBS app, Fox Sports app and Peacock. It’s fine on our Roku TVs, but the Fox Sports app isn’t available on the big LG TV we have, I think it’s too old.
