He has turned down basically every team in the SW that has had a coaching change recently. All of them. He will not even have discussions. He also has rhree sons on the team. Maybe after they are done?

I still can’t believe the geniuses at Rice were so stupid as to pass on Hallmark twice. He was Wayne Graham’s AC for 11 seasons, and to me that makes for a great resume. The same can be said of the resume’s of Pierce (10 seasons) and Noble (4 seasons).

Swept it, 5-0. Hope they can keep the up momentum. I’d love to see them go to the Austin regional and upset the host. Also pulling for them because John Cannon is an AC there.

Big 12 likely gets in 8 teams this year.
It will be interesting to see if both OSU and ASU get in. There have been a lot of upsets in the conference tournaments that have really affected how many at large bids they can give out. We will see how much pull the Big 12 has in the baseball world.
Another thing to watch is to see if the Southland gets more than one bid for the first time ever. UTRGV has an RPI of 41 and they played a tough non conference schedule. They deserve to get in. Southeastern Louisiana could also get in as their AD is the head of the selection committee. They tied for first in the league. If SEL gets in, it will be very similar to UNC getting in the basketball tournament as their AD was the head of the basketball selection committee.
That is one of the worst conferences in D1 baseball. They all are so bad that any team in the league could have won the tournament.
