listened to an insider podcast … they are still deciding between TKR and Melvin… Self has hinted that he will be loyal to Melvin if he admant on coming back… but the podcast noted he is encouraging both players to look at other options and explore all possibilites
Kansas fans desperately want TKR … they dont want melvin… becuase most believe its a 1 or the other… Melvin would be another guard in a guard heavy team when they need a big
This has been further amplified with heavy rumors that semi- touted Freshmen Luke Barnett has been lighting it up from 3 in practice … who wasnt expected to play much this year (added context that kansas is a terrible 3pt shooting team, projected to be one again)

Bless your heart It is a total waste of your time going back and forth with the guy. Just curious, did you watch him at Lamar or HS or both. I have seen 3 practices but that is a limited sample size. He looks good banging with JoJo, Gillespie and Arafan. Physical and athletic! I really try NOT TO limit how I see a guy based on what he WAS at a previous school or what conference he played in but what Samp will do with him and how he will develop HERE.
Haha you’re right, I have to stop arguing. But I watched him end of senior year through this season. As a freshman he barely played, maybe 5-10 games. So he went from an unknown to a very strong player in one off season. That’s encouraging. The kid went from 0ppg to 12 and 9 in one season and he was in no way the center piece of the offense at Lamar. My comp for him has always been Justin Gorham, however, I think he will end up being better than him with a similar build and style.
